Bill's got one way to do it. Two more ways;

- Go into Start, Settings, Control Panel, System. You'll see it on that window that opens up under Computer.
- Go into Start, Programs, Accessories, System Tools, System Information. XP gives you quite a bit of info right there.

The Device Manager can be your friend also. It's found in the System area as above.

Another good thing about System Information is under Components, Problem Devices. This lists devices that have no drivers installed. Want to find the device drivers? Make note of the VEN/DEV things, and go from there. For example, VEN_13F6&DEV_0111. Go to http://www.pcidatabase.com/ and plug in 13F6 into the Vendor Search. You'll see 13F6 is C-Media Electronics. Then go into that page, and look for 0111. You'll then see it's an audio controller and where to find the drivers.

Good stuff…

Spyware

Ad-Aware SE was such a great program why did they mess with it and improve it. Ad-Aware 2007 is so lame unless you buy it… But in this ecomomy maybe that explains why they discontinued the free version.
